Tour Plan

Meet & greet at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Airport code: MNL). Get ready to say “Mabuhay, Manila” as we explore exciting places in the capital of FUN. We visit the charms of old Manila starting with Rizal Park, a massive plaza named after the greatest Filipino hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. We then enter the walled city of Intramuros and explore historical gems like Fort Santiago, Plaza Roma, and Manila Cathedral. Get ready to see the modern and progressive side of Manila as we take you to Bonifacio Global City.

We visit Manila American Memorial – the largest American memorial in Asia Pacific – then Venice Grand Canal Mall, a unique shopping mall inspired by the beautiful Italian city. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Manila

Breakfast at the hotel then proceed to Tagaytay for a full day of exploration. For many, Tagaytay provides a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city due to its cool, breezy, and at times foggy weather. Tagaytay sits on a ridge 685 meters above Taal Lake and its island-volcano. Tagaytay’s extensive fruit and flower gardens are attributed to its rich, fertile soil. Tagaytay is also a popular destination for people who wish to marvel at Taal Volcano, known as the world’s smallest active volcano, which we will conquer by climbing to its crater.   We stop at the jump off point to ride a boat across Taal Lake going to Taal Volcano (30-minute boat ride). Once we reach the island, we register then we start our climb to the peak by foot. Distance to the peak is 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) and the hike usually lasts 55 minutes. Upon reaching the peak we enjoy the magnificent view of the crater.   Enjoy optional fresh coconut drink or optional tee shot of golf at the view deck. Afterwards, prepare to descend by foot (45 minutes journey to go back) then take the boat to return to our starting point. Enjoy buffet lunch of homegrown garden green salads, breads and dips, pasta, and dessert at Sonya’s Garden amidst lush garden and blooming flowers. Afterwards we proceed to People’s Park in the Sky. Enjoy the cool breeze and magnificent aerial view from one of the highest points in Tagaytay.   We then go shopping for homemade goodies like peanut brittle and ube (purple yam) jam made by the nuns of Good Shepherd. We also visit the local market to check out fruits in season or maybe try local delicacies like buko pie (coconut pie), Mushroom Burger, or crispy fried tawilis (freshwater sardine fish endemic to Taal Lake). Afternoon transfer back to Manila then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. To cap the day, we watch the world’s largest multicolor dancing water fountain at Okada Manila. Overnight in Manila

Breakfast at the hotel then we drive through the countryside to the beautiful town of Pagsanjan, Laguna situated 117 kilometers southeast of Manila (Travel time: 3 hours). Be prepared to board a native banca (canoe) skillfully driven by two boatmen and maneuvered upstream passing through 16 thrilling rapids and through rocks and boulders amidst steep gorges and lush tropical vegetation.

Our destination – the majestic Pagsanjan Falls, a three-drop waterfall popularized in the 1979 American epic war movie Apocalypse Now. At the falls, visitors can travel by bamboo raft up to, under, and behind the falls to see the Devil's Cave. Feel the force of nature and prepare yourself for a powerful hydrotherapy massage as the raft passes underneath the falls. Our return trip is another beguiling and thrilling boat ride experience as we shoot the rapids going downstream until we reach the calm waters of the river. The boat ride has been an attraction since the Spanish Colonial Era with the oldest written account in 1894. Enjoy a refreshing picnic lunch served by the riverside. Please bring extra towel, extra clothing and slippers as this exciting ride will surely be wet and fun. Afternoon transfer back to Manila. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight in Manila

Breakfast at the hotel then free time until check out. Transfer to airport for your flight. Farewell and until we meet again.
