Day 1 BIA to Sirigiya

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, we will have a meet and greet session with our tour guide at airport and proceed towards Sigiriya. En route to Sirigiya, we will visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage where it is home to approximately, 60 elephants. Watch the baby elephants play and bathe in the river and watch them being fed or feed them by yourself (optional). Optional Visit to Hiriwadunna village - experience the charm & simplistic beauty of this archetypal village (Optional Lunch). The name Hiriwadunna comes from Siri+weda+unna or Himi+weda+unna, both meaning “Buddha was here”. The village temple at Hiriwadunna is the real Bodhgaya where Prince Siddhartha attained Buddhahood – the original Ficus religiosa still stands there. Hiriwadunna is a special place indeed, where the scenery and aura is like a different world, detached from the rest of Sri Lanka. Day 2 Sirigiya to Kandy

Early in the morning at 6.00 am, we will climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This ruin is surrounded by gardens, ponds and other structures. Sigiriya was built by King Kassapa and it is included as a World Heritage site. Sigiriya is the best-preserved city center in Asia. Afterwards, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will proceed to Kandy via Matale. We will stop by at a spice garden- to witness how the traditional spices are grown. (Optional Kamatha Lunch). We will reach Kandy by evening and have a city tour of Kandy with evening Cultural Dance Performance. Kandy is one of the most scenic cities in Sri Lanka and lies in the midst of hills. It is the Capital of the Central Province. It is both an administrative and religious city. Kandy is the second largest city in the country and is frequently visited by Buddhists especially of the Theravada School. Overnight at Hotel in Kandy

Day 3 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Early Breakfast at Hotel. We will proceed with a visit to the Tooth Relic Kandy (Optional) Kandy tooth relic temple, historical records suggest that Kandy was first established by the King Wickramabahu (1357-1374 CE) near the Watapuluwa area, north of the present city, and it was named Senkadagalapura at the time, although some scholars suggest the name ‘Katubulu Nuwara’ may also have been used. Afterwards, we will proceed towards Nuwara Eliya. We will journey up through the hills, passing waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), pine and eucalyptus forests and vast green tea estates. Many optional photo stops en-route. We will also visit a tea factory, where you will not only enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon tea but will also have the opportunity to witness the intricacies involved in its manufacturing process. By late afternoon, we will reach Nuwara Eliya, the “city above the clouds” at 1980m above sea level. A golf course, race course for horse racing, English country style cottages and planters’ bungalows are all witnesses of its colonial past. Overnight at Hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Day 4 Nuwara Eliya - Yala

Breakfast at Hotel. We will begin our day by proceeding  to Nanu Oya Railway Station we will be transferred by Train to Ella passing beautiful serene tea plantations on the way. Ella, often described as ‘’lonely planet’’ and ‘’waterfall’’ is a congested town located in Sri Lanka. Ella is pure natural beauty, with its waterfalls, greenery, and hills it is just jaw-dropping. The greenery, flowers, gardens all of them shape the beauty of Ella, a shape that is difficult to resist. When we reach Ella, we will be transferred to Yala by road. Upon arrival, we will visit Yala National Park for an evening Safari. “Yala Safari” A dream destination for all wildlife enthusiasts; be it its leopard cubs seeking refuge on a tree, or an adult leopard quenching its thirst at a water hole, the leopard sightings in this nature reserve are many and varied and you are able to witness these wonders on a jeep safari where you can literally observe them from a close range. The highest density of Leopards compared to anywhere in the world dwell in Yala. Overnight at Hotel in Yala

Day 5 Yala - Bentota

Breakfast at hotel. We will proceed towards Bentota. After arriving at Bentota, we will check into a Hotel and relax at leisure enjoying the beach. Madu Ganga River Safari (Optional) After your breakfast, you will be visiting the quiet town of Balapitiya, to visit the Madu Ganga River; the specialty of this river is that it is conjoined with a mangrove lagoon amalgamated to the ocean by a thin waterway and containing 28 islands, some of which are inhabited. Considered as the second largest wetland in Sri Lanka, you will get to experience the high bio-diversity as well the local community who engages in shrimp farming using traditional methods. Finally, you can visit a cinnamon island and study out how the zest is removed from tree husk or watch riverside houses and sanctuaries with antique stone pieces and oil lights and end your trip with a natural fish therapy; hundreds of fish come and gently nibble the dead skin off of your body. Visit Turtle Hatchery (Optional) The turtle hatchery breeds, discharges, and rehabilitates endangered ocean turtles of any age. Visit the haven with one of the learned aides, who will show you about these uncanny creatures. You will likewise have the chance to hold and, with some good fortune, release the animals back into the wild waves. Overnight at the Hotel in Bentota.

Day 6 Bentota - BIA

Breakfast at Hotel. Thereafter, proceed to the Airport with lingering memories of an enchanting exploratory holiday in the Tropical Paradise - Sri Lanka
